College The institution has its unique history. The Necessity of this institution was felt on account of dearth of education for the refugee girls from West Pakistan. Hence, Shri 108 Sant Baba Mohan Singh Ji, the founder President was kind enough to provide the accommodation and the institution was started in the year 1948 as a primary school. The primary school progressed by leaps and bounds under the management of Sardar Jaimal Singh Advocate. During his tenure, the School was given recognition up to Junior High School in 1954. In 1959 Sardar Jagjeet Singh Chief Engineer H.B.T.I. succeeded him as Manager of Higher Secondary School. During has period, the college was given recognition up to Intermediate in 1960, Sardar I.S. Bhatty was entrusted with the management work of the college in the year 1964. During his period the college was extended up to degree classes.

The institution made further progress during the management of Sardar Pritam Singh Saluja from 1965 to 1974. The college made good progress under the manager ship of Shri Jagadish Lal Arora from 1974 to 1995. Sardar Joginder Singh was the Secretary of college from 1995 to 2003. With his untiring efforts college got permanent affiliation for M.A. Hindi and Home Science. Under self- finance scheme of the state government B.Com., M.A. Drawing & Painting and Sociology classes are being run.
The college was extended from the Junior Hing School to Degree College due to the untiring efforts of Mrs Raj Chaudhary.She joined as Principal in the year 1952, when there was 1 st batch of class VIII having 20 students only.
Dr. (Mrs.) Bhupinder Gujral took over the charge as principal in the year 1980 after the retirement of Mrs. Raj Chaudhary Dr. (mrs.) B. Gujral by her cease. Less and untiring efforts extended Degree College to post Graduate College in the year 1995. In 1997 Mrs. Urmil lal took over the charge of Principal ship. In 1998 Mrs. Vijay Mehra took over this charge. She shared every labor with the Manager to extend the college to the level of Commerce Faculty and Post- Graduation in Sociology and Drawing & Painting in 2003, Mrs. Vijay Nagpal took over the charge of Principal ship. She made every possible effort for the progress of the college. In 2008 Mrs.Manju Mishra took over the charge of Principal and made many possible efforts for the progress of college. In 2010 (Mrs.) Sandhya Mishra took over the charge of the Principalship and caring successfully by her competence. She left no stones untouched for the progress of the college in the Academic Session 2012-13 Dr. (Mrs.) Archana Gupta took over the charge of the principalship and in the academic session 2013-14 Dr. Manju Singh took over the charge of the Principal ship Dr. (Mrs.) Gurmeet Kaur took over charge of Principalship in June 2018. In 2021 Prof (Dr.) Deepti Suneja took over the charge of the principalship and now running this college successfully.
During the period of Dr. Mrs. Archana Gupta a National workshop on" Environmental Preservation" was organised on 24" Dec.2012, for the first time in the college. Teaching staff to bring the college I high excellence by the blessing of God & Guru
